Austin Pagan Pride was hatched in 2000 as a local event for the Pagan Pride Project. Since then Austin Pagan Pride has been powered by many individuals linked together through the Internet and through various local Pagan and Pagan-friendly businesses and organizations including but not limited to:

The Vortex Theatre, Gardens of the Ancients, Natural Magick, The UT Pagan Alliance, CMA and many others.

The goal of Austin Pagan Pride is to share knowledge with others in the hopes of eliminating religious prejudice and discrimination, not just for Pagans, but for people of all religions. We work to achieve this through a yearly Equinox Harvest celebration where diversity is embraced in a family atmosphere. During this event we collect funds and canned food goods for a charity and present to the public a variety of Pagan and Pagan friendly artisans, activities and entertainers to help share our vision of a world where religious prejudice is a thing of the past.
